Mother of the Civil Right Movement was a Single Mom

Rock Star Single Mom, Coretta Scott King was the mother of the civil rights movement.

Coretta Scott King became a single mom after the tragic death of her husband Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

She raised four children and continued the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with her focus on women’s right, economic issues, and world peace.

“Women, if the soul of the nation is to be saved, I believe that you must become its soul.”

We Salute Coretta Scott King!
